‍A product before it existed

jupyter is an AI home security system that works with your existing cameras – detecting faces, parcels, vehicles, loiterers and any unusual activity in real time. When jupyter came to Nordica, their product hadn't launched yet and the market didn't even know that it existed. Our job was to change that through building strong demand via a waitlist and to validate product-market fit, so we could give the jupyter team data to shape their launch strategy with confidence.

Building demand without a finished product to sell

Being a completely new AI product in the marketplace, no customer had any idea about jupyter... not yet. The campaign needed to introduce a product, a category, and a reason to care, all before a single unit had been manufactured. The product was so new that it was still ahead of manufacturing, which meant even their brand systems and visual language had yet to be bedded down. This also meant we couldn't lean on product specifics or feature-led messaging, there simply wasn't a finished product to point to yet. Instead, the campaign needed to speak directly to the everyday anxieties homeowners already carry: the worry of a parcel left on the doorstep, the unease of being away from home, the added stress of keeping an eye on a second property from a distance.

BRINGING THE CAMPAIGN TO LIFE

Nordica also led the videography and motion design behind the campaign. Content capture took place on location in Melbourne, where we shot the lifestyle and property footage that grounded the campaign in a real, tangible home environment. This was essential when the product itself didn't exist yet to film.

From there, our motion design team built out the UI style graphics layered through the film, including the recognised face alerts, garage door notifications, and activity call outs, translating jupyter's still evolving product experience into something visual and believable. With no finished device or interface to draw from, the motion work had to do the heavy lifting of making the technology feel real before it had even been manufactured.

Results that spoke for themselves

With click through rates of 15% and above, that number did more than validate the creative approach. It surfaced a genuine gap in the market and confirmed real appetite for a smarter, more considered take on home security.

For jupyter, it meant walking into their launch strategy with data backed confidence, not guesswork.
